DBG3820 1.5-Way LSD
Standard KAAZ LSD ideal for track-focused use. (Not recommended for street use)
Replaces factory open and LSD rear differentials.
NOTE:
Custom 28 spline axles are required to upgrade from 25 to 28 spline.
Early gearsets use 3/8″ CW bolts, spacers will need to be used with the KAAZ that is designed for latter 7/16″ CW bolts
The clearance between the pinion head and the KAAZ LSD must be verified in all installations.
Due to the larger outside diameter of the KAAZ compared to the standard differential centre, pinion head machining is necessary in most applications.
1.5-Way LSD:
Perfect for motorsports driving, this differential offers full engagement during acceleration and reduced engagement during deceleration.
This setup ensures smoother turn-ins and minimizes oversteer during cornering.
Tuning Your KAAZ
KAAZ differentials come preset at 100% locking, ideal for competitive motorsport.
For milder performance needs, such as street use, you can adjust the locking intensity by rearranging the clutch plates, reducing the friction surfaces.
Various settings are possible based on the number of plates in the differential.
Detailed clutch plate setting information is included with the KAAZ differential.
Custom Pre-Shipping Setup
If needed, your KAAZ LSD can be adjusted before shipping to meet your specific requirements.
